This afternoon I have an appointment with an allergist. I seem to be allergic to the world and I'm hoping the allergist will prove otherwise. Of course, if I'm really allergic to everything then I'll have a whole other set of problems to deal with.
I'd just like to be able to avoid whatever it is that makes me Itchy, Sneezy, Splotchy, Hivey... or anything else that could be mistaken for one of the Seven Dwarves.
Unfortunately, I've been off antihistamines and other allergy meds since last Friday. Which means I'm a mess and I don't feel like myself today.
More proof that I'm not myself today: I'm going to the doctor on my own volition and willingly letting them poke and prod me with about 40 needles + known allergens. *cry*
So really, the question is: Who am I and what happened to Joz?!
Posted by jozjozjoz at February 27, 2006 12:06 PMMy friend has bad spring allergies, and he went to an accupuncturist, and cleared his allergies almost completely.

I used to have really bad allergies to birch and alder. I went to an allergist 3 years ago and have been getting desensitization treatments since then. The treatements are definately worth the time and cost. I barely have noticed that the allergy season has started.
