We just lost power for a second or two... all the power flickered on and off.
Had to wait for all my equipment (computer, printer, etc) to reboot. Not a big deal, but if I had been in the middle of my 800 page print-out I was about to start, I would have been livid.
I wonder if we're going to have intermittent power problems today... it looked like power went down at least a couple of times over the weekend.
UPDATE: I just got a call from the receptionist so I could let everyone on my floor know that all the elevators in the building are out. Greeeaaaat...
UPDATE AGAIN: It's all good. The elevator outage was very temporary. Although if the power goes out again, they'll probably go out again. Guess who's taking the stairs today?
Posted by jozjozjoz at October 17, 2005 10:21 AMCan't your software resume a printout in the middle of a print job? As well, I hope your computer is plugged into a UPS.
And how were the stairs, anyway? What floor do you work on?
Posted by: Deltus at October 18, 2005 05:44 AMThat's what I was going to ask. ;)
Posted by: Carly at October 18, 2005 11:44 AMThe power in the entire building (maybe more) went out. My computer is not plugged into a UPS.
The stairs were not so bad. I'm on the 20th floor. Down is definitely better than up.

Stair Walker. Sounds like a name of a short-lived TV show on ABC.
