It is 1:20 am on Sunday night/Monday morning.
I am sitting at my desk at Job #1 finishing up a project that was supposed to be due on Friday afternoon.
Friday was a very bad day because we had a number of "technology issues" in the office. The long & short of it was that I wasn't able to get any of my work done because I was tending to other people's problems.
Therefore, I am here on a Sunday night, finishing up work. And BossMan doesn't believe in comp days, so I am just s.o.l. an entire evening.
I thought that since I quit Job #2 that I wouldn't have to have anymore 12+ hour work days, but I was wrong. Between Job #1.5 (that was ok because we got out earlier than expected) and the "make-up" work at Job #1, I have been at one office or another for approx. 15 hours now.
I'll be sitting back here at my desk in less than 7.5 hours.
Grrrrr.

People will call you about your old job duties for a long time until they finally get it through their heads that you have moved on to a different job.
