Aubrey is on TV!
Makeover shows have a fresh new face - it's our friend AUBREY LOOTS. You may recall I last ran into Aubrey after he did the hair for the models at the Pre-Oscar Fashion Show at Bliss. Here's a photo from that night...
Tune in tonight (or TiVO) Lifetime's very popular show "Head2Toe," a makeover show that does it all (except cut flesh) to make women look their best.
And in the Hairstylist Corner is Aubrey Loots (and several other stylists that he recruited to ESP Salon, the salon he was managing at the time). He is now working out of Studio 210 in the Brentwood Gardens, 11677 San Vincente Blvd #210, Brentwood. 310-826-5522.
Evidently the crew, host and subjects were extremely pleased with the new look. So check it out...

hi joz,
erin (my wife) went to aubrey today. he told her that danny said you had mentioned my comment, but aubrey didn't know who you were talking about. i just reread my original comment and i realized i didn't mention erin's name. i've only been to aubrey twice, so he doesn't know me as well as he knows her.

p.s. we also missed his ep of head2toe. aubrey says it repeats in 3 weeks.

hey joz,
i've been reading your blog for a while, coming from ernie's blog. i even threw my two cents in on the taiwanese history mini-blog entry.
i know you're on the westside, but i tried to avoid appearing stalkerish and asking what part of town you live in, but i have to comment after seeing aubrey on your site. my wife has gone to aubrey for ... over a decade at least. even when she moved to the east coast to be with me, she'd wait to get her hair cut (as long as she could) and have him cut it. he cut both our hair for our wedding a few years back. she just loves him.
we haven't been able to find the letter he sent out saying where he is now after leaving esp. now i can tell her! thanks!
