LOS ANGELES -- The popular home-remodeling show "Trading Spaces" is coming to Los Angeles and is looking for locals to participate.
"Trading Spaces" is the show where two sets of neighbors swap homes for two days to see how they can redesign a room in one another's house with a $1,000 budget and the help of a professional interior designer.
The show, and its offshoot "Trading Spaces Family," air nightly on The Learning Channel.
The shows are seeking Los Angeles-area homeowners to participate. For "Trading Spaces," there are two people per team; for "Trading Spaces Family," there are three to four people per team.
The rooms to be transformed must be 14 feet by 14 feet and the neighbors must be within a two-minute walk of each other.
Three episodes of "Trading Spaces" will be taped in Los Angeles, while four "Trading Spaces Family" shows will be taped in the city.
To apply to appear on the show and for additional information, e-mail Janel Mootrey at Banyan Productions at firstname.lastname@example.org or Cindy Keenan at email@example.com.
