So after I got done blogging yesterday, we decided it was too cold and rainy to drive up to SF. So we missed everything that was planned for the afternoon/evening in the city.
Instead, Yoshi sat in front of the heater and read a book. I sat in the cold, cold office, in front of the computer and froze off my fingers and toes while doing Joz's Very Special Computer File Organization and Clean-Up Procedure™ on YoshiMom's computer. There were probably a thousand files in the "My Documents" folder, most of which were jokes, funny pictures, recipes, and household tips. I organized almost all the files into folders & went through and uninstalled every piece of unnecessary software I could, updated other ones, scanned for viruses, installed Spybot, did every disk check I could before finally defragging it. The defrag didn't finish until this morning.
Fun, eh?
We did find some fun and excitement by meeting up with my old friend T and her friend W for dinner at Elephant Bar. We stayed until past 11pm talking up a storm.
Actually, mostly it was me talking, because I'm a bigmouth and there was a lot to catch up on because I hadn't seen her in 3 years (even though we talk on the phone every few months).
So, I'm going to get offline now and we're *really* going to SF today. I've got to call the Professor to see if he and his sister are available, Chey, and maybe a couple of my friends I know from my high school years.
And we might try to get some shopping done in Union Square, too. I hope.
