Aren't you glad the l.a. area quake map is one of my permanent links?

The aftershocks can be seen more clearly now that the color of the original quake has changed from red to blue on this map.

i'm on the 16th floor of a building in SF -- farther away from it than you -- and we were still shaking! glad to hear you're ok.

somebody here asked if they were supposed to get under their desks during an earthquake and I laughed. Brought back so many moments in my childhood of earthquakes. sigh. I think if a real earthquake hit this building it would go down in a pile of dust.

I feel for you guys over there in CA. We get quakes fairly regularly here in Tokyo. The one i Iran the other day looks like it was a big one. Scarry stuff!!!
