i'm on the 16th floor of a building in SF -- farther away from it than you -- and we were still shaking! glad to hear you're ok.
somebody here asked if they were supposed to get under their desks during an earthquake and I laughed. Brought back so many moments in my childhood of earthquakes. sigh. I think if a real earthquake hit this building it would go down in a pile of dust.
that link has long been a fave of mine. weird quake, huh? like being on a boat!
I'm so glad I don't live in CA... not that we don't have our share of quakes up here these days. Glad you're okay =)
I heard about it on the news..but the reporters didn't say much.
ooh, i'm glad you have those maps! i couldn't remember what the site was, and was too lazy to look it up...
Good lord, how do you sleep at night?
I'd be laid there wondering what was happening below!!
I better not come home to a set of collapsed shelves!!
Man, I always miss the cool quakes.
I feel for you guys over there in CA. We get quakes fairly regularly here in Tokyo. The one i Iran the other day looks like it was a big one. Scarry stuff!!!
