This is a follow up to the earlier entry: Why I am not a model and why she is.
Here is more photographic proof of this:
Thanks to Genevieve for providing the photo of her fridge.
To be fair, even though it looks like the closest thing to food in her fridge is a jar of Grey Poupon Mustard, you should know that I was responsible for filling up her fridge with Diet Pepsi and Sugar Free Red Bull as a result of a crazed Costco run. She also has frozen vegetarian food in her freezer.
And yes, she eats out, a lot!
Posted by jozjozjoz at November 20, 2003 01:53 PMWow -- my fridge has a lot of . . . alcohol in it. :\. I don't know why. I don't drink that much. I have a lot of expired food too . . . old pizza, old milk . . . obviously I don't venture into my fridge that often. But I also have grey poupon (two bottles even). I use it a lot when I cook.
LOL
Posted by: Michael at November 20, 2003 02:29 PMMichael, you are ruining my image of you. With all those yummy recipes on your site and you have old pizza and old milk in your fridge?! What a disappointment!
Posted by: :: jozjozjoz :: at November 20, 2003 02:38 PMBut they both look so.... clean!
Compared to mine, that is.
Not that bad, considering my fridge is perennially on E (for empty, except water, some pop and something my ex left in there in 1996 that growls at me when I try to clean the fridge.)
Me, I can't cook, but I DO know how to find the food & order! Ahhh, my bulldyke inner hunter-gatherer.
To say how much I eat out, someone I recently met and am quite interested in, works at a place in Vancouver, British Columbia called...(ready for this... DEATH BY CHOCOLATE. And ya know what, she sorta looks like JOZ! (I was inspired when I met ya, kid). Death by Chocolate...ah, what a way to go!
I'd rather eat at your place!
Posted by: Joe at November 20, 2003 07:01 PMWhy does your fridge remind me of my parents' fridge and Gen's remind me of MY fridge? Oh wait...sans the drinks. all I have is fruit really in my fridge. That's what happens when you know you're going home for T-day :)
Posted by: Meeta at November 20, 2003 09:56 PMCan I have a Diet Pepsi, please?
Posted by: sledge at November 21, 2003 12:19 AMThat's awesome...I love when my fridge has all the same thing in it. Though GG, I should warn you, if you only drink Diet Pepsi and Red Bull, you will die...
But it'll be a quick, uppity death.
Posted by: Michael Doss at November 21, 2003 12:21 AMYay! I can finally get to your blog from work now that you moved of that old site. WooHoo!
Posted by: emily at November 21, 2003 07:54 AMPardon me do you have any Grey Poupon?
Posted by: Kevin at November 21, 2003 01:37 PMWhy did Michael Doss say that comment about GG drinking only diet pepsi and red bull? Surely, that was a casual joking comment right?
Posted by: Lisa at November 21, 2003 02:14 PMYes, it was a casual joking comment.
Though we do not recommend that anyone actually try to live off of Diet Pepsi and Red Bull alone!
Posted by: :: jozjozjoz :: at November 21, 2003 02:21 PMYou mean after 13 years of 24/7 Diet Pepsi turning my blood to that Oh so natural Carmel #4 color, that this is not the perfect diet??? I am a Diet Pepsi addict...I realized when sent to Cabo for a runway show and they had mexican COKE LIGHT. I nearly lost it,...and my job...from wanting a DP so bad....coke light, for all serious diet Pepsi fiends will not cut it...that first order back home on the plane...that sound of the can cracking opening...made me GUSH! But, amoungst the casual joking of my uppidy death...there are a few that feel that same...check out this link: http://www.dorway.com/tldaddic.html but in the Meantime, while the commercial industry is slowly damaging my otherwise organic vegan (23 years) lifestyle...COME CALLIN' ON ME PEPSI IF YOU NEED A GIRL FOR YOUR COMMERCIALS....NO *ACTING* NECESSARY ON THIS ONE!!! xoxo, genevieve gallen
Posted by: genevieve gallen at November 24, 2003 03:42 AMLooks greaaaat - but then, I am a diet pepsi addict, myself. My fridge never stays that clean though, the kidlets and hubby sabotage my neat-nic compulsiveness everytime...

I suppose the bright side would be she needn't stand there with the door open agonizing over what to eat...
