Good news about the ring...

No, I didn't find the rock, but Hunny says the jewelry store called & said that they'd match and replace the rock for us at no charge.

Sometimes buying retail pays.

I don't have to keep looking for the rock anymore, even though I probably will until the ring is back on my finger.

That's awesome. I lost my engagement ring the second year we were married. No replacements for me. It's been a plain gold band on my finger ever since. I'm glad to hear you'll get your ring back.

Yeah, the ring Son bought for Mai is pretty well covered. He got this $100 extra feature where they will resize, polish, and replace any missing stones for free for life. Which is why I suggested they might want to "lose" a couple of stones and sell them on the black market until they got themselves a free ring. :)
