No, I didn't find the rock, but Hunny says the jewelry store called & said that they'd match and replace the rock for us at no charge.
Sometimes buying retail pays.
I don't have to keep looking for the rock anymore, even though I probably will until the ring is back on my finger.

Posted by: gingersmack at June 3, 2003 02:15 AMThat's awesome. I lost my engagement ring the second year we were married. No replacements for me. It's been a plain gold band on my finger ever since. I'm glad to hear you'll get your ring back.
Posted by: Ginny at June 3, 2003 06:02 AMYeah, the ring Son bought for Mai is pretty well covered. He got this $100 extra feature where they will resize, polish, and replace any missing stones for free for life. Which is why I suggested they might want to "lose" a couple of stones and sell them on the black market until they got themselves a free ring. :)
