it wasn’t a cannonball. it was a tennis ball. at 55 mph. it was scientific. they wanted to see if the guy’s heart rate would “redline” i.e. go above 180 just by getting hit. for the record, it went to 182 or something like that. what an idiot.

i especially liked how they showed the crew, mostly guys, groaning with empathy…
