This morning started with my Mom calling me to tell me that Grandma is in the hospital. When we had visited last, she had a touch of a fever, but I guess overnight her fever got worse and they decided to take her to the hospital. Please send good thoughts.
I was going online to send a few email messages, but then my computer got hot again and it wouldn’t turn on again.
Despite all this, I’m grateful that my family is safe and not in harm’s way of all the wildfires that are eating up the Southland. My heart goes out to the people who lost their homes or even lives. I do have to complain that I am having a hard time breathing the ashy air and that my allergies and asthma (I rarely have asthma problems these days) are acting up, but if that is my biggest complaint, then I really don’t have all that much to complain about.
School is taking up all my time outside of work. The good news is that all the time I spent preparing for my Information Systems midterm paid off… after the curve, I got a 99%! Whoo hoo! (That means someone else got 100%, so I didn’t get the highest grade in the class. Oh wellz.) I have a paper due on Friday at noon, so I’ve got to work on that intensely this week. I have a lot of things that I’m supposed to be making progress on, I don’t think I’ll have a lot of time to blog for a while.
More importantly, I don’t have a lot of time to spend with my family these days, and I really want to. I barely see Yoshi, especially during the first half of the week and my weekends are booked with school stuff. Now with Grandma in the hospital, so I’ve got to figure out when I can get over there to visit more often.
Anyway, I miss talking to all my friends so if you have a moment, send me a message. I’m sorry I’ve been so bad at keeping in touch, but I really want to know what everyone is up to. Hope to hear from you soon.

I’ve been missing you! I’m sending good thoughts to your Grandma.
IM me any time!
Thinking about your grandma. Hoping the fires are out soon and the air quality can be cleared up for you and for everyone who suffers breathing problems. :(
I pray for a speedy recovery and a very short stay at the hospital for your grandma. Congrats on your midterm. Woohoo indeed!
well at least i can keep track of everything you’ve been up to by reading your blog, even if we don’t get to see each other during the week. don’t worry, it’ll all be over soon!
