For the record, I called Dad to apologize. I called him like 5 times and he didn’t answer his phone, so I left my apology in a voicemail.
But had he answered, I’d have apologized to him directly.
I do realize I wouldn’t have had to apologize AT ALL if I just hadn’t been mean to him in the first place.
Sometimes I really suck.
Don’t be too hard on yourself. Dads and moms can be super frustrating sometimes.
I’m with Ginny–I don’t think you’re a bad daughter at all, I mean, you went out there to help him, right? Dude, what’s with your dad and car problems? It’s beyond the realm of normal car troubles, I’d say :)
You don’t suck. I think you were the bigger person for apologizing. I would’ve been miffed by the situation, too. And, they wouldn’t be family if they didn’t make us feel this way.
