Time to see the allergist again.

Today is the second day in a row where after taking multiple allergy drugs, I was still sneezing up a storm.

I took a Benadryl before work (Job 1.5) and I almost fell asleep at the keyboard. And I have to REALLY pay attention, so that wasn’t good.

I came home from work and zonked out for like 3-4 hours.

Oh and I have hives.

This is not good.

Are you allergic to the allergy meds? Can you be allergic to allergy meds?

HRM - This is a possibility that never crossed my mind!

Yes, you can be allergic to allergy medications. I just went on a date with someone who explained to me that she is deathly allergic to Benadryl.

I’ve had hives for the first time in a decade. Which was also the last time my allergies were this bad. If I take any allergy meds, I’m basically a zombie for 3 days. They totally wipe me out. My allergies disappeared for a few days in Vegas last week. Back now.

Just gotta live with ‘em I guess. Achoo.

That’s the downside of benadryl - it makes me all sleepy. But I feel all happy now since it never gave me hives. *lol*

You poor thing. Hope you feel better. Maybe you should try to claritin? (Is that how you spell that?)

Hopefully they won’t make you take steroids to try to fix you up–though that might be the only way. There’s new forms of antihistamines because of the banning of the drug that’s used to make crystal meth that might help you too.

Maybe you and Yoshi should move to Vegas or some other dry climate to avoid the allergies….. when I go to visit the parents in Colorado close to 9k ft. my allergies disspear…. go figure

My first year ever with hives, too! I think the evil empire is causing it. ;) or global warming. or some damn thing.
