That’s a great question. I do it too much myself. I am pathetic I will fall asleep on the sofa when the kids are still awake at night.(The husband is around) How sad is that? I do have an medical excuse tho.
It is directly proportional to the comfiness of the chair/couch you’re in. I’d recommend getting a much less comfortable place to sit/lie. Like all wood furniture. Or concrete blocks.
It’s a combination of watching tv (relaxing, turning your brain off situation) and the comfy goodness provided by your couch. I’ve been on Joz’s couch, that dang thing is super comfy! I wouldn’t need the tv to fall asleep in it.
