I got the following scoop from J-X today:
One of our employees was stuck in an elevator for an hour this morning. He heard glass and metal break above his head. The elevator dropped from the 12th to the 10th floor. He had to climb through the ceiling and jump across a 3-foot gap to the neighboring elevator. He is currently working at his desk.
J-X is a very reliable source and especially since the elevators went out multiple times this week during power outages, I am inclined to believe this story.
Eeek.

-Police activity (car chase?) with choppers and a guy laying on the roof of a building and a LAPD person with a gun pointed at him: July 21, 2005
-Bomb scare at Jack in the Crack: July 8, 2005
-Bomb Squad(?) on Vine, north of Selma: June 2, 2005
-Suspicious package at the 101 @ Vine: June 1, 2005
-Fire at the high rise across the street at Sunset and Vine: May 31, 2005
There is probably more, but those were the events that I could remember off the top of my head.
Is your building possessed? Do we need to call ghost busters?

yeah, like i’m not ever getting in the elevators in your building ever again! and if your building is possessed i’m moving out–never know who or what’s gonna follow you home!
uh… yeah. if i’m ever in the area, i’ll just wait outside. LOL!
