about music downloading. i’m willing to pay for music downloads because of quality issues, and the fact that i don’t like knowingly installing spyware on my computer.
emusic.com…but only if you like indie music and being able to transfer your music to as many computers as you want. Uninhibited MP3s, and .25 cents a download. Love it.

I came by about 3 times yesterday, and saw the whole page was blank. Then, I read your posts about spammers. I don’t believe in the death penalty, but I think it should apply to them
if u’ve got an ipod (whichever flavor) i’d go with itunes. you’ll get apple’s version of mp3 which napster doesn’t support. the files are smaller and better sounding.
iTunes beats everyone down like a pimp. There’s no need to even go look. Nothing beats the iPod integration, the music selection and the iTunes software. It’s easy to use and the copy protection ensures that they get the music deals and selection, however, it’s ridiculously easy to break so it doesn’t inhibit your choices any. I’ll show you how to break the protection if you want to. You know how to contact me, joz.
I havent used ITunes yet but have been curious. I’ve been using Napster and have been very happy with it. I also use “musicnow”, which integrates with win media player and has a large selection of music as well. ps: I dont have an I-Pod so I dont know if I can even use I-Tunes! Do you have an I-Pod? If so, I’d go with ITunes. If not, I dont know. pps: I’d love to use MusicMatch if they have pre-paid cards, because Musicmatch is the software that came with my mp3 player.
I LOVE my iTunes, but haven’t used the new Napster.

I’m a big fan of itunes.
iTunes cos I have an iPod. but I think both are probably just fine.
Gotta throw another vote iTunes’ way. Its excellent!
I use iTunes religiously, but keep in mind, there are quite a few artists that aren’t available on iTunes.
I haven’t used napster since 2000, so I’m of no help in comparing the two.
Uh… I actually use allofmp3.com $.02 per mb for a song — that means a song for like $.08 — whole albums for a little more than a dollar.
