I read about the Adidas 35th anniversary Superstar Cities Series on Josh Rubin’s blog. To celebrate this anniversary, this series includes 7 customs dedicated to the cities most responsible for making the Superstar a success.
They are Berlin, London, Paris, NY, Boston, Tokyo & Buenos Aires. Each design features a trademark unique to each city.
Oh well, it’s not like I’d have bought “I *adias logo* L.A.” Superstars, anyway. I wonder what “trademark” L.A. shoes would’ve had though.
Buenos Aires?? I wouldn’t have guessed that, though I wouldn’t mind going to Argentina. Go for the beef, stay for the shoes ^_^
And it doesn’t matter which city they represent, they’re all made in the same child-labor third-world shoe factory anyway…

You silly rabbit …
Buenos Aires just doesn’t scream “Adidas” to me. I would never have thought they were just a huge buyer.
Imagine San Francisco’s logo. Ha.
I was born in Argentina and all of my family still lives there. Adidas is huge down there because of the soccer following.
