I heard about the soda this morning ont he news while I was getting ready for work! It sounds truly nasty- why would someone want to drink mashed potato flavored soda???
Kind of like the jelly beans in Harry Potter that are snot flavored.
I drink Jones Soda all the time. There is a popcorn place in the mall that sells it for $1.25 a bottle. Cream Soda and Berry lemonade are the best in my opinion.
Well, I’m definitely buying the packs when they go on sale Thursday morning–I can see trying the cranberry soda with some alcohol, but the rest will be just for posterity.
I heard the Turkey and Gravy soda was truly nasty, tnough.

Some things are better left on the Ideas Room floor. Sadly, the upper crust at Jones Cola haven’t heard of this philosophy. Mashed taters? Turkey and gravy? Holy shit do those sound scary.

ok…the gods have spoken–i am not to touch the stuff.
i woke up just in time to try to buy some of the soda….at 7:59 AM, lightning strikes an electrical pole 1/4 mile down, the power goes out for a couple of seconds, and now my computer is dead (i’m using aiyahh’s work computer now to write). by the time i’m able to log onto a new computer, it’s 8:10, and impossible to get into the jones soda store website.
It wasn’t meant to be. Fate and the gods/spirits/whatevah has decreed that my thanksgiving feast will be chewable.
damn…there went my idea of a new Thanksgiving tradition.
*sigh*
I ordered two cases as soon as they became available on Thursday. When I get them, I’ll let you know how they taste.
