Advice get yourself stainless steal pots and pans. No matter what no chemical smells. A couple years ago I found a pot of rice on the stove and realized it was ontop of a low flame for over 24 hours. With hot water and soap and it soak for five minutes all that rice came up without any scrubing. Stainless is the way too go ! Buy one at a time if you have too, you will never go back.
