Today the lunch truck was involved in an accident on the way to our location and was not able to service our lot. It maybe a day or so before we have a truck on site.

Considering the state of the fries you ate there before, it wouldn’t surprise me if they scraped up all the food that landed on the ground after the accident, packaged it up and sold it to you a couple of days from now. Yum.
I never trust food sold from a truck.
Sounds like someone suggests you eat out for lunch, as in “outside the office and parking lot”.
