I wish I could talk to my Lola more often, but I don't speak tagalog, and everytime I talk to her she pretty much starts crying. I have only seen her twice in my life since it is SO expensive to fly to the Philippines, I cannot imagine how my mom feels being seperated from her, and being the only one of her family in the States. *sigh* Wow I am so glad your parents are okay, and I am really proud of your parents for taking a stand like they have on their politics.
