Taking a few minutes to stop and think back about the last 2 days… it seems like a week has passed, with all the adventures and travelling and stuffs.

We’re in San Jose at Yoshi’s parents’ place for the moment… we were able to sleep in (for once) and are getting ready to get out of the house again.

We left SF yesterday afternoon and had a late lunch in San Leandro at Yoshi’s auntie’s place. There was a cute Yorkie puppy there (pictures forthcoming) and I thought of Keith and YorkieMom and Sophie and Lola. Then in the early evening, we piled into the car and Yoshi drove us out to Sacramento for family party #2. At this party, there was a cute weenie dog puppy.

It took me about an hour to make the rounds and say “Happy New Year” to everyone (I didn’t even stop to eat) and I headed out to the car to visit my friends. I ended up getting to see both of my friends I wanted to see, as well as meeting a few people (whom I look forward to getting to know better in the future) and went back to the party around 12:30am. After another hour or so of saying bye to everyone, I took the wheel to head toward San Jose. The fog was extremely dense and I had gripped the wheel so hard that as soon as we got over Altamont Pass, I had to ask Yoshi’s mom to take the wheel. I think it was 3:30am when we got back home. And maybe 4:00am when we passed out.

We were hoping to meet up with Professor Eric and his sister this afternoon and go to the SF MOMA for the “Diane Arbus Revelations” exhibit, but seeing as it’s already past 3pm now, we’re going to get some shopping done in Union Square and try to meet up with them for dinner/something in the evening instead.

And I’m going to see if Cheyenne and a few other SF friends might be around for something tonight.

So off I go again!
