If it’s 3:30 in the morning and you want to say something to me, here are a couple of ways you could try to reach me:
Appropriate: Sending an email or IM
Inappropriate: Calling me THREE times at 3:30 am
Now, neither of these methods means I’ll necessarily respond to your message, but I can tell you that if you decide to call at 3:30am, I am much more likely to *NOT* want to say anything to you.

if i’m called at 3:30a there had be a life & death situation on the other end. i’m talking blood, hospital, gunshot, knife wounds, etc.
Ordinarily, I’d completely agree with Enigma. Then the thought of GG calling at 3:30 am strikes me. (I’m so glad I don’t really have to wrestle with the possibility of that.)
