Excerpted from a Reuters article on CNN.com about the Bennifer (or Affpez) movie ‘Gigli’:
Among its biggest problems is a love scene in which Lopez spreads her legs and tells a smoldering Affleck, “It’s turkey time. Gobble, gobble.”
I swear, I don’t think I ever want to eat turkey again. And it gives a whole new meaning to “turkey dog.” Blecch.
UPDATE:
Reviews from FoxNews.com, PageSix.com, and MegaStar in the UK.
All mention the infamous “Gobble. Gobble” line. Ew. Ew. Ew!
UPDATE #2: Don’t forget the whole business about the airbrushing of the movie poster. Jane has the goods.
Worst. Line. EVER!
WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?!
I’m so naive!
I’ve been meaning to blog about this myself, but I’m gonna wait until this curse of a film is unleashed upon the unsuspecting public, where it can do more damage.
Oh for the love of pete and all that’s green! That’s atrocious!
but i like white meat … har har har.
I read that too. I don’t think I am completely naive, but what the hell is ‘gobble, gobble’ supposed to mean? It is like they were trying to make a bad film. Sounds like it worked.
OMFG i am rolling please tell me this is a joke!!!
if a man ever said that about me - i’d be like um hello mood killer!
… that’s pretty nasty.
Hunter,
If you read the comments on IMDB, it’s actually quite funny. I think you hit the nail on the head!
It’s both stupid AND “Ew”!
So those are giblets in J Ho’s ass. Now I see.
is it bad that i’ve been running around work going “gobble gobble”?
Are you grossed out because it is oral sex or the fact that it is oral sex between J-lo and Ben?
what the…
I imagine J-Lo spreading her legs and flies and bugs and stuff flying out.
Ew.
This might be fun to go see. Just to be SNARKY!
I’ll never look at the jack in the box commercial the same way again. “All i’m saying is… Any bird that goes Gobble Gobble is just asking to be made into a sandwich.”
Girl, you are just sick and wrong. (Put it away, now!)
